Re: Unit Stat Guide.
Great stuff, printing right now.
Another major find in my book is Gamer Replay Empire Strategies.
Check it out if you havent already
http://www.gamereplays.org/empiretotalwar/portals.php?show=strategies
After some fumbling around I have found that this game responds best to mouse selects on the user interface, and field clicks and draws, instead of keyboard short cuts.
I am now using only the 4 arrow and Control keys, and the mouse, that's it!
It takes getting use to but works very well

Re: Unit Stat Guide.
As much as I appreciate all the work that goes into these great guides, a quick look at the Prussian page yields some major discrepancies. Not sure how they could be that far off, but would suspect the source before the Fusilier (Brandy Barrel).
Just an example: 80 Life Guards for 1200 vs. 120 Life Guards for 1320
And all of the Prussian infantry are like that, haven’t looked at anything else.
Am I missing something?

Re: Unit Stat Guide.
I think you will find that it relates to the ratio of funds versus unit size.
As in...
80 Life Guards for 1200.....medium unit medium funds.
120 Life Guards for 1320....large unit large funds.
Not, because if you have 50% more men in the unit they would cost 50% more money.

Re: Unit Stat Guide.
Nice try
Prussian Jaegers (for insatance) are 560 on both Funds (Medium and Large), and in all Unit Sizes (Small, Meduim, Large, and Ultra).
The only thing that changes is the number of men employed (20, 40. 60, and 80 respectivly).
The guide has them at 670.
The final balance changes obvously didn't make it into this Guide version.
