Hosting Samurai Warlords.

Up to todays date I am still unable to host a game on Samurai Warlords.
There is no problem with hosting a game on M2TW though.

Today I discovered that the BT Home Hub has it's own 'built in' Firewall.
After a long chat with Customer Support I am now able to set the Firewall to what I want it.
Hopefully this will now allow me to Host a game on MTW/VI and Samurai Warlords. I have not had a chance to test it yet. Perhaps tonight!!
Although it has allowed me to host on M2TW

Latest update on Hosting.....
I have now discovered that the BT Hub (my internet connection) is also a Router.
I have gone into the Advanced settings options and have now set the ports required to enable MTW/VI and Samurai Warlords to be Hosted from my PC.
I have tried Hosting a LAN game...successfull, tried hosting a Samurai Warlords Beta5 game...successfull, tried Hosting a MTW/VI game (last night)...successfull.
Pings have been averaging between 50 - 90 for MP which is a good speed and 10 - 25 for LAN.
M2TW has the port setting already entered in the Medieval2.config file so that is the reason that I have been able to host games in M2TW.
We have succeeded.

I have been having the same problem. Can you tell me what I have to do to this BT hub thing so I can host once more.
If its complicated I can give you my Mobile number if its easier and less hassle for you.

Forget the Firewall side of things, it is set (or should be) to allow games access.
Take a look at this Link for help with setting the PORT numbers.
There is also a post on .org giving ALL the port numbers that need to be opened. If I can find it I'll update this post.
