Good news on the Patch. Having read the 'readme' I can only hope that some of the 'other' ( unlisted ) tweaks will have a positive effect on MP issues. I knew the patch was being released but I am surprised it will be available so soon. Let's hope very little has been overlooked.

Hello,
I downloaded the patch.
There were rumors on overpowered units . Golden Band.
I did few tests. GB didnt seem so overpowered to me. But we have to test it. I Hope that those more important issues (desync and lag) are sorted out.
I will be on line later.

heh I'm slack.
Ok I've downloaded the patch now just got to install it.
It's a bit late for me for testing it tonight but will make the effort to be online tomorrow night.

Gah!! Patch will not install.
I keep getting the message.....RomeTW.exe not detected.
I have tried manual install but only the auto installer is in the zip file.
Hope I can get this resolved soon.

That is not good news Glyndwr. Bring back manual options I say !!! So much easier. Hope you sort this out, though how you go about it I have no idea. Let's just hope it does not require a complete uninstall/reinstall of both RTW and BI. Good luck.

The good news...It's installed.
The patch was finding the Activision folder (had the same problem when installing BI) it was not finding RTW folder IN Activision folder.
So, installed to Activision folder then, drag and drop into RTW folder in Activision folder. Easy!!!
