Although I may well be as much a part of the problem (being a not so good player) as being a person with a solution, I did try to set up a ranking system that would help in organizing meaningful tournaments for all involved, but got literally no support from those who would have benefited most (the elite players).

I have to say that to rid myself of the “why wouldn’t anyone listen to me” demon. Not that saying that now fixes anything, but for some future occasion when something likewise is proposed, possibly some folks will give a more earnest look at the idea.

CBR, you are the one of the best players, if not the best I have ever seen. Not only because you play well, but because you play well with others. My most enjoyable games were riding under your command. Salute!

(Just thought someone should say that at some point Wink

Are you referring to the players, who turned their backs on Samurai Warlords because the mongols were being re-activated, but are now all willing to play again but with Beta 8.0 + 8.1?

The very same. Lost interest supposedly, or at least that's what they said and correct me if I'm wrong, Beta 8 became bug free during our tests which meant 8.1 was not really required. I'm sure that was the case but it really doesn't matter.

And now I read that SamWars is no longer played because certain players decided to make 'their own version of the mod'.
Correct me if I'm wrong here...... Didn't certain players quit playing because Mongols were introduced? Loooooong before any Japanese stats were altered?

Go figure. Yuuki had to shug thier mistakes off on someone/someones.
I can only do Beta 9 fine anyhow, since Beta 8 doesn't like my comp and Mizus keep telling me it's my damn graphics card,even though it's not for christ sake if I can get Beta 9 to work with the Mongols.Can't tell them otherwise What a Face
